My Doctor Who sonic screwdriver mod

I had a sonic screw driver toy sitting around and noticed the tip was the same size as a carto i have.
So wala.
It still makes the sonic screwdriver noise when you push the button.
I am planing on rewireing the light that used to be on the tip back in so when i use it the clear carto will light up.

I'm actually in the process of building a carto tank that looks like the top of that sonic screwdriver and a mod body that looks like the rest of it. bought one of the toys (it's otw) so I could gut it for the audio board

Mines kinda heavy. the bottom part is diecast.
It used to be a real screwdriver, inside it had all the various types of heads that snapped into the diecast end.. but all the inards came out very easy to allow me to put what i needed inside.

Awesome mod man love the classic Dr.Who. Gotta say 4th Dr. aka Tom Baker is my favorite one but I also enjoyed the 2nd aka Patrick Troughton Older post but still deserves props!

Oh man, I was just mentioning in another thread that I was planning on modding my sonic screwdriver screwdriver!! What carto did you use?

I used a clearomizer at first then regular 510 stainless ones...I also used clearos with leds and a clear driptip for lighting effect.

Oh my gosh. I want a few Doctor Who mods so bad! I'd love a sonic screwdriver, but I could see Dalek, Cybermen and that awesome Time Lord Pocket Watch as mods as well.
