You might want to add to 9: Vermont Vapor - The Smoking Alternative At Vermont Vapor, all the liquid we sell is mixed entirely by us - we start with 100% pure food grade glycerine and add distilled water, nicotine (over 99% pure), and citric acid to balance the ph.

To this base we add only food grade flavorings - well, with the exception of our tobacco flavoring. That we make ourselves from ground tobacco leaves... and most people wouldn't want to add those to food.

There are many other methods that may work better than what is listed above.
But the jury is still out, as with all things electronic cigarette related.

So you should add these as well...

Yeah, I just listed the most commonly used methods, but I just added your recommendations to the list, too. I knew someone would have more options to add. Thanks!

What you're doing here is great, and I'm glad to see my thead included in the overview section!!
:D

But I think I would split the above topic into two sections...
1) Cartridge/wicking performance
2) Atomizer cleaning

And then I would add the following link for atomizer cleaning...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...75-cola-method-taken-another-level-works.html

I realize that there are probably many other good links, using many other methods.
But this is a classic, and it has worked well for me so far.

I give my atomizers a Coke bath once or twice per week.
I have not had one die yet, and have not noticed any decrease in performance.

Going on almost three months now!!
:thumb:

But, up to you, it's your thread, and every little bit helps no matter what.

I think that's a good one, too! I'll add it.

I think I put the cleaning in that section because a newb would be wondering why they had poor taste or vapor production and wouldn't know that cleaning is one of the options to help with that? I'll add a divider to it regarding cleaning.

Kristin--I will go ahead a sticky this in the new members section but I hope some more entries are made on it. There are many threads here that are true classics and would like to see them included.

Thanks again Kristin for all your hard efforts.

No problem! Point the way and I'll add the threads/links to the appropriate question!!

Here is an good example Kristin---there are so many perfectly good atomizers out there getting thrown out when in fact it is just a connection issue.

See http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-center-conductor-gap-penstyle-atomizers.html

I would hope some of the other EFC Veterns chime in here and help Kristin out!!!

Thanks,

Sun
Hmmm...not sure if that is a frequently asked question by new members, but I added a section to question #10 to put it under anyhow! :D

I'm hoping some vets will guide me to some more of those jewels, too!!

It is Kristin for ths simple reason that I have been helping new members who sign up here just to ask this one and only question---"How come my both my atomizers will not work that came with my new kit" I must have answered this question for New Members 100's of times

See that is why it is important to have some experiance here. As you say, you would not think that is a New Member Question, when in fact that question right there forced them to actually sign is up and join this forum to ask and indeed this was their problem.

Thanks again Kristin.

That's why I wasn't going to argue with you!! :D

How long can I edit my original post to add things? Sometimes I go back to edit an older post and the edit button is gone.

Kristin---like Don doing his segments---just PM me the update that you would like and I will edit your post for you.

Again, thanks for all you have done here in such a short time.
