Recommended battery for the evic?

I just got the evic with the 2600mah battery and I want to buy another battery.
I don't know much about batteries, I only know it has to be a 18650 battery.
Does it have to be a Samsung battery? Do I need some kind of protection?
I know it has the option for 2200/2600mah, can I use a battery with bigger mah anyway?

I added a back-up battery when I ordered my eVic from LitecigUSA. I looked for quite some time and couldn't find the exact same one pictured on the Joyetech website when you start looking at all the numbers. I figured better safe than sorry...

Yes. With an eGo-T upgrade tube that's available from a lot of places you can use an 18350 battery.
