Hey Girly...Melvin doesnt have that basset smell at all, not sure why. The other ones ive had definately had that hound aroma about them. I keep doggie deodorant handy..lol. And, they get lots of wet cloth baths around my house. Hopefully you will replace Clyde one of these days. Take care, see ya soon..Hugs, Clumsy
Thank you bluedove. I love your nic name on here...Dove's remind me of peace. I love my bassets. I had 4, omg....it was like clydesdales running down my hallway....but 2 were adopted out. I currently have Melvin ( the terror) and Bessie ( the old gal ). They are both very very spoiled and very loved. You need you another Clyde !! Hugs, Clumsy -
