sorry if I'm digging up an old thread. (Hip surgery, yay) Although I will tell you, I am glad that I didn't read this thread before I bought my pd270. One of the best 40 bucks ever. Very, very, happy with this mod. Does a lot for me.
And with the previous talk of TC on Smoks Baby Beast, as...
But, especially back on the misleading M1 coil for the BB... even if the number is inaccurate, it will stop going higher at the given threshold. I'll have my kid take a video. it's consistent every puff.
Something funny is going on. I had my wife watch the temps as I puffed.... apparently I don't have the lung capacity to get it above 380° lol, that's not right. If I do however set it to 320° it will stop heating there. So we know the numbers are off, but it does shut it down at a consistent...
I realize that now, think it was a little slick to name it M2 if some mods have a memory setting with the same name. That being said, as above, in my experiments, the M2 simply would not let me burn the coil out in temp control mode, and kept what feels like a constant temp every time, in the...
Thanks man, the PD270 is made for dual 20700 batteries BUT, it comes with this brilliant silicone skin with gold contacts for 18650 batteries. Since I already had that size battery, I ordered it online without batteries for about 60 bucks.
20700 batteries are on the shopping list, though...
Yeah, I was about to post after putting my (what I thought was a burnt out) T8 .15ohm coil. And it behaved the same way. So I messed with both atomizers, and different temp control settings and direct power control settings... and all my points above are moot.
The T8 behaved almost the same in...
On the menu, TCR is a completely different menu function. You choose, P for straight power, T for Temp, and TCR that requires settings to be input for individual wires that don't auto sense. The Temp menu, you can choose Ti, SS, Ni, M1, and M2.
No I'm not sure. All I know is they were marked M2's and I had read they were fairly new. When I put it on my mod, it sensed the coil as an M2 preset on the mod, and I behaves the way I imagine a temp control atomizer would hit. The temp always feels constant. And pleasant.
Yeah, I know, but it's crappy plastic that picked up scratches in a day and oops, I picked at it. Lol. The packing tape actually makes the screen look better.
Like I said, new to vapeing and this mod. But when I plugged it in, my mod wanted to read it as a TC coil with a M2 preset.

I'm loving the PD270. Love the fire button, the carbon fiber like grip it comes with is nice and padded, feels great. I'm not an advanced vaper by any stretch... but the TC mode on my Baby Beast with the new M2 coils is awesome for me. I have nothing TC to compare the temp output to, but running...
Thanks guys
Thanks, problem is, I can't make her do anything. We tried the cheap ones years ago, I don't understand her resistance now. One of the reasons just pneumonia and smoking almost killed her because she's a cancer survivor, and chemo has ravaged her immune system. One...
