Just had to do a fix on my vamo v2 the head thread got striped ( I don't think I'm to hard on my gear but I did drop it a few times 
) I just took the head off and drilled out the center and put a 510 to 510 ego adapter in, solder the adapter to the old head or you wont get a ground, the black wire is the negative on the chip solder the positive and a little epoxy to keep it all in place. I like the mod but why would they use soft brass for the connecter?

great for work, it been used a abused and still works well except the voltage down but that from re-gluing it back together
