Yes you are right! I had just been on the SA forum the day I got your message and some SA guy had been rude to me (and is since banned lol). Anyway, so my mind was still in Afrikaans/Dutch mode; so I read it as 'Ya ne' (the 'j' is pronounced as a 'y'). 'Ja ne' means 'Yes, isn't it?' in Afrikaans/Dutch/Flemish. I never even realized the sililarity until now.
Oh lol!!! Sorry hehe...I thought you were speaking Dutch? "Ja ne". Was that Japanese? Are you in the US navy/army or whatever that is called?
