  • Hi Sandi...I'll look u up on fb and add you. I'm PLSChows on it as well as LoyalPawz...I'll add you to both although I'm not on the LoyalPawz as much as I'd like/need to be. Thank you for the complement on my avatar (his name was Ahrsea (RC)...technically, Ch. Secayne's Royal Crown, CGC,TDI, and I'm still so proud of him. Almost put a CD title on him but he anticipated the drop on recall and at that point was so busy I didn't bother with the title. He was my soulmate of animals. Miss him a lot.

Good luck with the "brat"...I've had my share of them over the years too...actually have a big time brat cat right now that pushes around my son's tripod Bull Mastiff/Pit mix...pretty funny watching the cat (blind in one eye and broken jaw (healed now but still snaggletooth)...known as the PIRATE CAT, he only says MEAAARRRGGGHHH, bully a 100lb dog.

Anyway, have a great New Year...talk to ya soon,
    -Pam
Hi, I'm so sorry I didn't respond sooner. I didn't see your message until just now. That's awesome, we need more chow freaks that do rescue :). I started showing and breeding Chows (yes, AND doing Chow rescue) about 30 yrs ago. Now I'm just doing all breed rescue (cats too) and missing my chows like crazy (lost my last one a few years ago and am not in a position to have one right now) The one in my avatar was my first homebred champion. He was also a registered therapy dog, very unusual for chows. Lost him years ago. Would love to chat anytime with ya. I'm PLSChows on AIM, Yahoo, Skype as well as a few others...feel free to say "hi" anytime. I don't notice messages on here often tho :(. Hope you had a great Christmas and if I don't talk to you before, have a wonderul New Year. BTW, I'm Pam
Not enough room in the "bio" section for this, so thought I'd leave this here. LOL. Everyone wants to know the story behind my avatar, so here goes: yes, that's me on the right. The handsome fella on the left is Louie. A friend of mine is an animal trainer that worked at Universal Studios, Hollywood. Louie was a member of the Animal Planet show at the park (he has since retired). One day, we hung around after the AP show and the trainers allowed us all to interact with some of the animals. That's when this photo was taken. I do NOT believe that "exotics" should be pets and strongly advise against keeping any primate as a companion animal. The good thing about the company that put on the AP show is that they used rescued animals or animals born into captivity as their "animal actors." The animals were treated humanely and many of them went home at night with their respective trainers. Anyway, that's the story and this concludes the educational portion of our program. :)
