  Did you ever get your VG and if so what was the end result. If you are still having problems I would look at the flavoring and consider some DIY methods where you can experiment with small samples at various levels of each component including flavors.
  
  Please write me back and let me know you got this note and if you would like some links to a couple of good DIY sites.
