  • Yeah, cherries are good. I like the yellow ones more, different flavor. Life is good, other than the shoulder, which may never be the same again.

Last week, a bad atty fried 2 of my batts! Next week, I'm on call for jury duty. Oh yeah! Everything's going well.

But fellow ECFer Laura B sent me priority mail replacements batts, so I'm :vapor: normal again. :)

    What's new with you?
Thanks, Sophey! I'm bookmarking that. I am taking fish oil too. I wonder why everybody I asked said glucosamine didn't work? Cherries are anti-inflammatory, who'd have thunk? Oh, my shoulder is ok, only hurts when I use it. It's just complaining that it doesn't want to work. :D

I hope you're not watching Dr. Phil too. I have no confidence in that guy, heard he's not even a Dr.
"Beneath the mystery of women often lies very simple, boring explanations!" Yes, but it's like peeling an onion, many, many layers.

Who's Dr. Oz, unknown to this country bumpkin? I understand it's not good to have too many cortisone shots, so I'm saving the bullets for emergencies.

Too many characters? Deleted? Yet another mystery, the conversation that never was. You can also copy and paste into PM, roomier there.
Catching butterflies, I said that because...I see a woman in a butterfly in a book in your avatar, but my eyes have seen better days, theirs and mine. See what I mean? Mystery upon mystery. The more I think about it...YX for guys is perfect, "why the mystery?"

That scene? Yes, lots of meanings, one nameless, faceless individual commanding an empty hall, even better in wide screen but didn't come out well in a post.

The shoulder? I got the shot and am taking glucosamine, which nobody other than my doc says works. He says MRI and surgery are only options if it doesn't heal. I don't believe him, and haven't asked for another shot...yet. This will take some time. :(
If you are a country girl, sorry, you don't have the "why" chromosome. That foolish excuse is reserved for us dumb guys who self-impose injuries. To me, the XX chromosomes just mean "mystery upon mystery". You're free to use this as well as "why".

Thanks, I like the "back" shot, as in anonymous. Yes, poor Ophelia, driven to suicide between conniving ole men and a crazy young one. I see you have a new avatar too, been out catching butterflies? Nice :thumb:
Country girl, a? Yes, it's great to be among some trees, just a lot of work. My avatar is a fox visiting my back deck. Lumberjack? I think it's the "why" chromosome in me. I keep forgetting I'm not 20 anymore. Call it what it is - dumb. Cortisone usually works wonders on tendons/inflamation, but this time could be different. Thanks again. :)
Thanks for your 'get well' msg last week. I got a cortisone shot, seems better, going back for a checkup next week. My own fault, trying to bring down a tree with a hand saw. Old & dumb!

Won't be doing that anymore. This makes 1 cortisone shot in each shoulder. I got to move out of my country property as soon as real estate gets somewhat normal. Ah, youth is wasted on the young.
Good to hear you're doing well. Just found out I got a bad shoulder at the doctor's. Other than that, it's all good. Getting old, ha ha!
You'll have lots of friends before you know it. I love anime too, but am not a fan of ones with bug eye characters! No offense.
