Wide bore tips on drippers anyways allow you to use the tip for its actual purpose, dripping into the atty without removing the cap, hence the name...... When drip tips first appeared they were sized to fit cartos and premade drippers, the sizes were standardized by the size of the cart...

The most amusing part to me with these crazy coils is how much wire surface is NOT touching the wick surface. Sorry but driving mega watts into a foot of wire will cause any wick to put out like that. Instead of 1/10th the surface area touching (hence the reason these coils have to be so big)...

Yup, and if you went old school silica, learning to hand wrap a coil on the wick. You would have a coil/wick that can be dryburned and cleaned at will without removing ANYTHING. And keep going for 3 to 8 weeks. Doesnt get any simpler or lazier then that.

Have a picture of the actual dirty coil? Lol Thats nothing, just slows down the heatup time. Ive had em look like they're coated in brownie crumbles lol. Dry burn the coil and rewick and if you must use iy for now that coil will still work fine.
