    Compendium of genisis methods

Hi! I, for one, would most definitely be interested in reading such a compendium. I hope to see it up here in the very near future. Thanks in advance... ~ v

Haha wow, definitely the biggest impact ECF has, and will have, on my vaping life. What an incredible series of posts, those.... Have them all archived in case they were ever pruned for any horrible reason!!! Trying to dig back in the canals of my mind... but didn't he obtain the original mesh...

Interesting... I'm assuming this is meant to serve the same function as wrapping the coil in ekowool, etc, to prevent the wire making direct contact with the wick? Seems a bit overkill for me these days, but certainly may have been of help when just beginning to work with mesh. I remember my...

    Rocket Science Mods closing down...

Terrible shame... I've heard of a few such staple companies having to do the same thing. Might certainly hold on to one of my two Rockets, now. For Posterity :)

Some of my favorite juices, made by Atty Lube, still list their bottles 35PG/65VG I love it. Makes me feel 'at home' :) ... I remember when VG wasn't even a thing. Hmmph. ;)

Hahaha - you know how I know you're old school? You've listed the juice ratio with PG first! I always do that and it drives people nuts these days. But I dig that!

@GrowthCurve Thats funny - while not often, per se, I have discovered the merits of 'sewing' my coils as well. I find that when I'm "pulling the thread through the eye of the needle" - that is, once i've began my coil lead around the wick and through the gap between the wick and positive post...

:) Well the KLS unfortunately isn't a genny, so I may not post that one here, but I did just get my Nextasis24 Collector's Edition in the mail!! I've attached a shot of my unboxing + 30mm extension tank it came with, a shot of it on my FMB, a comparison between a regular Nextasis (left) and the...

What's your hot-spot situation look like when you create a new build? @GrowthCurve nice builds, man! Look at that old school Chi You :) :) I had the 26650 mech made by Style of Mojo, the Megan 318, at one point. His stuff was of extreme quality, for sure. What are people's juice preferences...

Ha-haaa! What a great idea!! I've often had the issue where the outer mesh topper is still, despite focused rolling of varying pressures, able to slide up and down independently of the main wick itself. Awesome bit of insight there

Great discussions going on here, guys - this honestly became a pretty darn cool thread thanks to your participations!! @GrowthCurve Toppers actually arent that uncommon/nuanced as one might think. Indeed, before beginning to actually 'see' how many people indicate toppers for their builds, I'd...

Never tried a genny, looking at the Avocado 24 and the Theorem

As @Taff Evans pointed out, neither of these are genesis devices... they are RDTA's (aka "auto-drippers"). Why they would be marked as 'genesis-style' is beyond me! At any rate, I've never tried the Avocado. The Theorem was, to me, kind of a piece of garbage. interesting design, but the glass...

Great thoughts!! I definitely agree. What is your take on some people's assertion that leaving the bottom 2/3rds of the wick un-torched A.) preserves flavor and B.) stops any darkening of the juice in the tank over time? Personally, if I'm *that* concerned about that stuff happening (the...

WTF is Annealing Wire, and Why? Annealing refers to altering the workability of metals by heating them up to extremely high temperatures and then cooling them, either rapidly – as in exposing it to water – or slowly, by exposure to air. When I anneal wire prior to wrapping a coil, I have...
