I used to pull down the button on the top left and it would show the threads I had posted in along with them in order of any current posts and be marked if there were any new posts in that thread. So far I'm having a hard time getting to stuff. At least it's taking longer anyway.

Top of the page is a link for Watched Threads, or hover over your username in the upper RH quadrant of a page and select Your Content.
Friends are now people you "Follow". Wanna see what the people you are following are posting?
Hover over username, upper RH, select "Your News Feed"
