I think I need to outsource my number pickins' to a RNG. ~8 months playing and I still haven't picked the right number.

Ok I found this for chrome and it seems to be working pretty well so far for fixing the background colors:
Deluminate - Chrome Web Store
it has several customizable settings to invert the screen colors. with the low contrast setting enabled i have a dark gray instead of completely black background and mostly white text. Looks almost like the settings I had before
It does however seem to tint the emoji and some other random graphics here and there but for now i thinks its an acceptable compromise.
