At 1 month today into vaping. Whee!
Thanks to help from our member Robert Cromwell and the YouTuber from the Vapor Lady, the first two even
Worked. (Even though the first one had an extra wrap and was a higher ohm than I wanted.) The 2nd one
with 4 wraps of 32 Kanthal came in pretty close to the 1.8 stock ones I'm using now.
I made do with my digital multi-meter even though it only goes to .1 ohm, at least it told me there wasn't a short and at least where in the Ohms ballpark I was.
Even though the Vapor Lady (with the 3 mm Silica) didn't use any flavor wicks, I was getting some flooding
so I went back in and laid down a bit of the unwound Silica for FWs.
I need to work on my winding and wick trimming (they Worked better than they Looked.
) but for pennies I figured I ended up with at least of good of a coil as stock.
