Great topic for today. I think that The Phantom Menace is clearly the best of the series.

The Original Star Wars Movie is my favorite. I remember sitting in the theater and being amazed with the special effects.

OK, I have to admit it. The only one I have seen is the first one, so I have to go with the original way back in 1977. The only other movie that has come close to the excitement and just plain amazing graphics of that movie, for me, is Avatar.

Summer of 1977. I was thirteen years old, and my dad says 'Hey, you want to go see that Star Wars movie?' Pivotal day in my life, and one of my fondest memories of bonding with my father. So, while I would usually say that Empire is the best film of the bunch, I would have to say that A New Hope is my favorite of the entire franchise.
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but check out the Star Wars Holiday Special clips on youtube. The term 'Cringe-worthy' doesn't even come close to describing the horror. You thought Jar-Jar was bad...
