The new Star Wars remake. I just love the special effects. Love the old movies also but the new one was awesome on the big screen.
I would have to say the original 77 video. I was at sea when it came out and missed all of the excitement and really had no idea what was going on. I didn't get started on them until it came out on video, then I was hooked on the whole saga.

I loved all the old ones. I haven't seen the new ones so I can't compare them but if I had to pick from what I've seen, I'd say I loved the original Star Wars movie the best.
This one is extremely difficult! But... I'm gonna have to go with The Empire Strikes Back. Darth Vader is the absolute greatest bad guy of all time and this episode in the series was at the height of his darkness. When you can choke a man through a video communicator, you are a bad man!!
Defiantly the original episode IV, 1977 release. I did not get to see it until I was in HS about 4 years later but I was hooked after that... and by then all the toys and stuff was on clearance sales.
The original (Chapter 4)...so glad I got to see it in the theatres as a kid during the first release. So glad my mom & stepfather were into geeky movies.
I am quite sure that one of the first three is better story-wise, but unfortunately I saw Episode I before ever seeing the originals. Ever since then I just haven't been able to get past the graphics in the older ones, considering how amazing they are in the Prequel Trilogy (even though there were quite a few things I hated about the story/acting). Which is why I haven't watched the Original Trilogy in at least 10 years (basically since I was like 15-17 years old).
However now that there is a new Star Wars movie coming out, my interest has been rekindled, and I'm pretty sure now that I'm a bit older I will be able to look past the lower quality graphics and focus on the story/acting. I just haven't found the time to watch them yet (since I like to watch Trilogies back to back to back
), but I plan to before The Force Awakens is released.
Anyways, since I don't remember much about the OT, my choice will have to be Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Although like I mentioned, I'm sure that will change once I finally get around to re-watching the originals.
