My favorite Taifun clone is the GT-S from fasttech. The GT-S has a 2mm airhole on the deck and AFC ring. For me, it is a happy medium between the restricted airflow of the GT V1 and the massive airflow of the GT V2.
I like that one too but cannot seem to find it anymore. Have you seen it at FT?

I didn't know the gt-s was different from the gt1. I never really looked at them because they look the same.

I really like the gt2 a lot. Using it right now in fact.

BAM Vaping has a review on YT.

My best tip is you don't need a ton of cotton, and leave it fluffed, don't pack it down or roll it tight. Also, cut the wicks just about flush.

A 2.5mm coil will fit between the posts with just enough room on either side.

Screw the chamber cap on just until it starts to compress the cotton, although this is something you will get a better feel for when actually building and working with it.

Enjoy ;)

Congratulations! Don't forget to post pictures. We love pictures.

And I 2nd what dems86 said...
I use either 2.5mm or 3mm Coils without a problem. The great thing about the taifun is the ability to angle the coil as needed to fit between the posts. Since the chamber collar moves to wherever you have the wicks coming out.

Just one of the great things (especially about the gt2) it's hard to not build it right. Even a quick hurried not so perfect build still results in a pretty darn good vape.

Great looking combo. I hope Taifun cleans up the design of The Eye and updates and/or uses the new Dicodes chip.

That being said, I think I'll get a GT II. You can't beat these style tanks for airflow, taste, and all around ease of building. Plus, they are attainable unlike the UT.

The ubertoot as I recall was kind of an erlkonigin styled device right? I just never got the performance from that everyone else did. I think the tgt2 is "uber" better [emoji14]
Ubertoot isn't anything like an Erlk ;)

It's closer to a GT2, just with massive wick channels

Have a look,

That was NOT the tank I thought it was. I saw something I thought was the ubertoot and it was a more sophisticated erlkonigin tank, no clue what it was now... I have been thinking it was the ubertoot, I was wrong.

I'm not sure if it's better than the gt2? The UT I mean... But it looks "interesting".

Todd has a review too, and BAM Vaping just put a review up also. Both of those are worth a watch :)

Which one is giving you a problem. top or bottom?
Let me start with the top one. If it seems too difficult to get it to stay on the groove of the metal top piece just position it evenly on top of the glass and screw on the top, it should all come together. (the o-ring must fit the ID of the metal tank to get this procedure to work. If smaller it just about has to be placed on it groove of the cap to get it together)
20 x 1 mm works best for top of clones.
Alright got the top one in using your method (it is a 20) now how about the bottom one and is that a 19?
