If I had all the rain you guys are getting I'd be sick of it too but we haven't got any. Looks like our chance of rain starts tomorrow and continues for over a week. Hope we get some rain out of all the chances
Last night while driving home I heard something about evacuations for flooding in OK, but haven't seen anything more in the news yet. Is it still staying out of your area PT?

CES, we have flash flooding, but it drains off pretty quick. Also some of what you hear is a lot of drama on the news, but would stay away from river beds and creeks this week!

Yep as for OKC and where I live a little North, the water has mostly drained. Looks like Purcell which is south of Norman (Uni Of Okla) does have some active flooding this morning.

We could use a little of that rain. We don't need it quite so badly as Fran does...but either way i think you can go ahead and send it east.
We are hearing that you lost a firefighter in the flooding, PT. Word of line of duty deaths spreads pretty quick.

FC, had not heard of that but looked around a little. Looks like it was in Claremore which is a 45 minute drive NE of Tulsa.
I remember the town from when I lived in Norman. Glad you're staying high and dry. The area I live in now is prone to flash floods from the steep hillsides. Spring and summer are interesting to say the least. People build very expensive homes and lakeside cottages on steep slopes and then can't understand why their house has a river running through it and they're being ordered to evacuate. [emoji15]

Just got back from the Grocery store and a little driving around. Its raining again but roads are OK, some sections you don't want to be on the outside lane as there is some pooling of water.
We have friends driving down from Tulsa today and so far they say no problem.

Afternoon everyone. It is supposed to rain most of this week again. We've had some flash flood warnings but I haven't heard of anything serious.
Just stopped raining, but supposed to start again tomorrow.
Drove around with friends this afternoon to go eat and shop a little, roads here are fine.
