I think that's what this is. About 2-3 months ago I had it, and the pain would shoot from my lower back down, mostly into my right hip and going towards my right leg. Lasted about 5 weeks. This started up again about 10 days ago, except it's on my left side this time.

When the Dr. asked me to describe the pain I told him it felt like someone broke a pool que in half and stabbed me in the back right at the top of my .... then drug it down almost to my knee. Laughing as he was he gave me a shot of morphine and then sent me for xrays and a cat scan wrote me a RX for something that knocked me on my ..... Overall it lasted almost 5 weeks. no fun at all.

Yep, that's pretty much the same feeling. Every step sends another shock wave of pain down my hip and leg. I've been dealing with lower back pain for almost 10 years, but that has nothing on this. I also tend to have a really high pain tolerance, so with how much this hurts, I can't even imagine how much it sucks for someone with a lower pain tolerance.
