So I dropped by fstoplights to get a couple of batteries and they recommended the new efest 2100mah. 38 continuous and 60 pulse discharge...anyone tried before? At the moment using vtc4. I have heard good stuff abt LG HE4 and Samsung 25R. Anyone can share their experience or opinions on these batteries?

That 38 cont. is undoubtedly an exaggeration of it's capabilities. Most likely a re-wrapped LG 20 cont. Efest is known for this.

38 continuous discharge sounds dodgy. Stick with the HE4 and 26R.

VTC4s, LG HE4 and Samsung 25R are all excellent batteries.
A vendor did some testing on the new Efest you mentioned, and at least up to 30 amps it seemed to perform well, assuming you trust the testing.

Unsure of authenticity of those vtc 5(s) out there. Since production has supposedly stop. Been sticking to HE4 and my very old vtc 5

If you are finding vtc 5's out there at a vendor, they are most likely fakes. They have been out of production for quite some time.

Anyone ever gone down to super sub ohm? 0.1 or 0.09 those kind. Will HE4, vtc4 or 25r be able to support it?

Get this new Efest instead. Initial findings after I've just tested it personally at 6A current discharge. Results are rather obvious.

Regardless of whether rumours of 'All Efest are re-wraps', this new 35A 2800mAh simply performs really well, confirm better than my other Efest 2500 mAH 35A & even VTC 5 (at 6A drain). However, higher current discharge might be closer to VTC5 or no par at least, not yet tested.

Not sure what secret ingredients are being 'Re-wrapped' inside, considering what is available now which some claim is 'impossible', LOL.
