How does an unregulated MOD work? How does one select watts/voltage?

Whatever the output voltage of the battery your using is the voltage that is being put to the atty, no electronics in the circuit to alter the voltage. Any mech mod is unregulated. Hope that answers your question Robin.

Stayed plugged in a bit longer than normal tonight to try avoiding the huge backlog in the morning - probably won't stay on much longer and I know it won't put much of a dent in things.

I was warned off mechs early on. However, I won one, and now own 17. I like 'em almost more than my regulated boxes.
