Trying to get the form factor down even further. I still need a bezel for the charger...but that is another day. My only advice is don't try this! Not nearly enough room.











General specs: Large screen DNA40, lexan cover, aluminum frame with dye stabilized burl skins.

That's pretty good there. It's the sort of thing I've got in mind,but I'm going to keep the full box so the rta sits mostly inside.
Did you manage to get that other one sorted for me?

Thanks! I am still bummed that the burl is so thick that I have had to cut out room for the charging cable housing, but I am working on a bezel that will solve that. Soldering with tweezers is not my thing! I am still thinking this is a prototype as the first brazing of the aluminum was seamless. I had to open it up for milling the various parts and it went down hill. That said I am expecting some better tooling in the mail today.

New tools are always a big help, I've just got my hands on a bench drill and table router so thing looking up here. Thanks for the progress report on the other one. Just message me when you get to the post office, I'll pay up straight away.

Thanks. After a week of use, I am thinking of a few tweaks! I will have some shop time near Father's day so I may hammer out a better band.
