My wife gets my used MVPs. The MVP2 just didn't hold a charge long enough so she got the MVP20w and I got an MVP3.0. There is just no problems, I keep the Nauties filled so she has a choice and she plugs it in just like her phone.

Be nice if we could share more of the hobby, but it works for us.

Speaking of the cheap stuff coming out, their is a lot of competition. I am glad that innokin keeps a distance from that.

I think the presence of Evolve will bring a TC model.

I like it! vaping "Hand Me Downs"!

trying to set myself up with a next phase of vaping (for me)
I’ve stuck to my guns so far, as my first two years passes by
I have made the most, of the decisions I made along the way
most definatly got my moneys worth from the gear I’ve purchased…

if you look up tootle puffer, I think my avatar is in the description
that style of vaping just ‘works’ for me, but all this ‘sub-ohming’
is just too main stream…
techy & cheap, you sure can get some remarkable devices pretty easily

I made the choice early on NOT to mess with removable batteries / chargers
one which I still support (for me)

value, bang-for-the-buck is what I am after (as most do)
myself, I just don’t see spending big for vaping
prothingy, dna, ultra mech mods etc , just DON’T appeal to me
remember we used to get after that crowd some saying, mine vapes just as good
as yours for A FRACTION of the cost… { TEHO - YMMV - IMO}

That Original MVP 2.0 vv/vw-11w-with Ohms checker (wow!)
it didn’t get me off cigarettes, but IT MADE SURE I didn’t go back !

I just don’t care about vaping anymore, I kinda gave up on it
meaning the technoligy has passed by my needs...
I just vape, as I used to smoke cigarettes
just grab a vapor device, and vape
no drama, no breakdowns, no learning curve – just vape
not much thought goes into it (anymore)

now I still like to keep up with the vape scene
what all the cool kids are doing and such…

I still love Innokin and their approach toward vaping
I remember when THIS thread was just-a-hopping
now it is like a back alley in an abandoned city...
(gum , paint , burger king wrappers all over the place)

the NEW MVP 3.0

I would never buy the 30w/3800 (why would I)
the 60w/4500 sure is a nice unit
but that evic VT is damn sexy !
same price, 60w, equivalent battery, but add in temp control...
Joyetech was my first and sure seems to have a good rep

the CFIV is sweet (but 2000mah ?)
iStick TC40w 2600, smaller and a dollar cheaper (seems longevity is there)

(what was they thinking with the VV4 $?$?$?)
eGo One whoops it’s azz all day long & cheaper

in my thoughts, Innokin dropped the ball several times...

MVP 20w
MVP 30w
MVP 60w
all bad timing releases, (day late & a watt short)

now not being in the TC (temp control) game
as usual the market will be flooded before they get their shoes & hat on…

the “Disruptor” lets see where the new battery design takes us… (prett cool) IMO

then a string of bad topper-tanks (IMO) ended up with the iSub,
with ONLY ONE COIL available that is akward to rebuild(at best), boggles my mind

so my allegiance is wavering toward my fondness of Innokin
I see maybe better devices for my money
no, - doubt I’ll use big 60W, and it is nice it’s there, but I never have
charged anything with my way cool MVP USB output…

MVP only thread R.I.P.

(unless you consider the disruptor an mvp with a removable battery)
but that would belong in the all things innokin thread

is it just me or does anyone else think it funny that ‘the king of MVP sales’
just not so long ago “101 VAPES” doesn’t sell MVP’s now ????
sure they have a few 20W left-overs , but….. did Innokin put the ‘ki-bosh’ on them ???

Been vaping over 2 years, my 1st box mod was the MVP2, and still love innokin now, got a MVP v3, it's the 30 watt version and I picked it up for work, as know it will take the abuse it will get at my work, 30watts is plenty for me, I normally vape at 25watts.

Also got the coolfire 4 last week, and loving that one, small but a real solid mod, and at such a good price too.

I have been using just kanger subtanks for months, but did pick up a isub last week, which now goes on the MVPv3 at work, and I am preferring that for work, as so quick and easy to change out coils.

Yes they have no temp control yet, but not everyone is into it though, I have 4 TC mods (evic-vt, mini vaporflask, full size flask and IPV4) and I am not using the TC on any of them.

Innokin might not have all the bells and whistles of some mods, but I can rely on the build quality of innokin though :)

I Hear Ya ! love the for sure rock solid Innokin product !

that is part of the process for me – Not To Buy what I won’t use, don’t need
“I have 4 TC mods - - and I am not using the TC on any of them.”
I didn’t care about TC at first, but now it has gone mainstream, I wanna adapt to it

but at this point – my thinking for needs/wants/likes

starting with run-away hit of the 20w (original istick)
then the massive success of the 30w istick
now comes the hot new iStick TC40W
for $35 bucks, they kept it small
keeping the stainless steel threading, spring battery connection,
and USB charge / passthru function…
FINALLY moved the 510 connection inboard to allow
a 22mm diameter tank to sit on top normally…
added 10w and 400mah and mostly the hot ticket ;Temp Control (TC)

BUT, the best addition is the “lanyard hole” on the top :)

I might just buy a box of them…
    2 of each color -$35x8=280.00

Don't you want to wait and make sure it doesn't have all the problems that plagued the 50w istick?
I love my 30w but I'll wait before I buy another eleaf product (except for the Air tanks).

YES ! yes I sure do
I am not in a hurry (yet)
I am going to base my theory on :
eleaf board is from the istick 30 school of evolution
which so far has proven to be reliable...
    but no, I don't wanna be a test monkey :?: :)

I am just thinking out loud
more likely would grab the eVicVT (push comes to shove)

My next TC mod will be a sigelei 75w, but probably not for you, uses an 18650. eVic VT is too janky for me, and I boycotted eleaf after the lemo 2.

 I have seen headlines about the sigelei 75w TC
and you're right , no, would not interest me at 75w/take a battery out style

so you're reading in 'trouble' with the evicvt ?

I just meant the UI is too janky for me, the navigation, and that weird rocker button thing on top. But yeah, there are possible issues with it as well. Taste Your Juice | EVIC-VT HEADS UP… Busardo posted that a couple weeks ago, not good for lower wattage vapers, and I've heard of auto-firing issues since then.

I'll stock with a cheap($20), adjustible tube and 18650s for now.

My T3s tanks at 1.5 run all day w/o issue. Swap the battery each morning (though I could go much longer). No need to plug it in or be without it, ever.

I can even throw the Veritos (dual coils at 0.4 ohms) on when in the mood.

All the adjustments just aren't needed at this point. Something appealing in the simplicty of a mech. It just works. No muss, no fuss.

Of course both my cars still have carbs, and one has points. Simplicity. No computers running things.

I'm a tech geek, but still appreciate the simple things ;)

yepper, I also seen those comments about the evicvt
just waiting to see how it all shakes down
and at the point I decide to make a purchase,
just try to make the best decision…

sorta along your line of thinking, the ego sticks with T3S (& RBC)
is my main stay along with ye ole MVP 11w
    pretty simple user interface…

in the tone of Ron Popeil ”Set It and Forget It !” :)

now I think I wanna step up my game a bit
40w / 2000-5000mah should cover most all bases
and perhaps maybe the last real vape purchase
if product quality holds out, wonder where I’ll be vape-wise in say 2 yrs…

Too much electronics in the ego for my liking. Sure, boost circuits, current limiters, temp control, Lipo batteries are all fun. But at the end of the day I just go with simple, little to break stuff. (Not paying $100+ for a pretty mechanical either.)

I rolled my own for 15 years. Played with injucting tubes and rolling machines, but in the end paper, tobacco and my hands won out.

    Do I sense a pattern?

no reason other than informing this group,
just passing along some new stuff I’ve seen…

so I am seeing the Disrupter:
    $37 for the brains/buttons/screen side (50w)
$17 for the 2000mah battery side
$55 for the kit (both sides) (many colors)

but then I see the newest iStick:
an iStick 100w (no temp control)
and it requires two removable 18650 batts,
    behind a magnetized battery door

    • 100mm x 54mm x 26mm (istick 30w-77mmx32mmx23mm / istick 50w-83mmx45mmx23mm)

    looks like maybe $36 bucks
