Coil Master ?

Got mine in today's mail from my man, SuperX. Thanks again, chief rocker.

I can't seem to be able to make consistent coils with the coil master. I use the same ga.wire, the same amount of coils, but the resistance changes with every coil. My coils look pretty but I waste a ridiculous amount of wire to get the resistance I want. I'm going back to my old jig.
I just need a gizmo now that takes you from this...

Cuz I still spaz out and mangle things while mounting a coil.
But other than the first pair, when I followed SXD's instructions, wrapped an extra wrap, then got them all mounted up having FORGOTTEN to pull out that extra one, I am getting mostly nice and neat and tight coils from the Coil Master. I just have to figure out the whole bend-a-leg-this-way thing.
Especially for ma Nuppins. They need a special bendy.

I received my CM V3 coilers today. Nice piece of kit. They are replacing my Kuro Concepts coilers. I really dig the ability to wind counterclockwise. Super handy when spinning coils for the Marquis.
I just ordered a V3 today. I have used the V2 for my Nuppin' coils but the V3 will work better. I thought about drilling a hole in the V2, but this saves me the hassle of doing that.

If you have this atty you don't need to bend legs

No juice out the airholes? The one 22mm I am running is a Catfished Rogue - great vape and leakproof, it's worth it...

Super, do you know if the "Stumpy" is made smaller. I'm thinking a 18mm or even better ... a 14mm would just literally put all others to bed.

Not even a trace. It drains like no other atty I've ever used - including the 14mm ones and Those air holes are pretty high. I've been using one since Friday and today commissioned my second.
I know. I thought top air was my future but being able to single coil and out produce a dual coil AND live life like a top air atty is a game changer.
This atty has pretty much sidelined my vectors. The vectors are a very close second but when I can run a single coil (it's no secret that I'm lazy as hell) that edges out duals I'm all in.
But you're running a twisted single coil right? That adds another level of skill and prep. I've not yet attempted to make any twisted wire, but I've been thinking of trying it.Not even a trace. Easier than easy...I feel like twisted is often seen as advanced and it's really not IMO. Especially if you use a tesla twister so that kinks are impossible
Twisting wire and coiling a single coil with it is definitely easier than doing a standard dual coil IMO. And considering duals aren't hard that says quite a bit
I say give it a shot. Hangout msg me if ya need help. Twisted does impact the vape in profound ways, especially flavor wise.
Never thought I'd be reading you're using a 1.05ohm. This Stumpy must be a really good one to have in the tool box. I like the design of it a lot.

Is one able to use the Coilmaster to wrap twisted wire or parallel coils or anything besides single wires? I tried last night to wrap a parallel coil with the coilmaster and failed, but I tried it very quickly and gave up quickly since dinner was ready.
I got 15 today
