OK, you know what, I try never to complain about the rules here. I read them, and I signed up, which is explicitly agreeing to follow them, which I do. But this is just weird. There are so many deleted posts on this thread that could really help people, not to mention Gdeal's presence... Is there something we can do? Is there anyway to get this reviewed or something?

Maybe because it cost him and he was giving this away for no profit.
I was able to order a new 26650 top cap the other day because I had the print saved in my designs. The body and top cap are the only parts that I can have printed right now. GDeal has removed the print for the full device though.
Received my hardware kit today. Sprayed my black Peko parts with Krylon 1311 and they turned milky white/grey. In went the parts into an acetone bath. Out came the parts gray, acetone is black.
To ad insult to injury, the cost of this Peko has reached ridiculous levels.
$55 US dollars for the printed parts from Sculpteo
$25 Canadian to UPS for duties taxes brokerage fee and general BS.
$52.69 US dollars for hardware kit with shipping
$16.10 Canadian to Canada Post for taxes plus COD fee
Grand total of around $180 Canadian so far. Not including finish/paint.
Should have just ordered a complete mod from Livewire.

If the black turned grey your 1311 was sprayed too heavy. It's supposed to be multiple light coats of 1311. You will need to start from scratch. Look at the bright side, you can now paint it whatever color you want.
Odd. When I sprayed my black Peko with 1311 it didn't alter the color at all. I put on four very light coats with several hours between each coat.
Very light coats is the secret with 1311. Too heavy and you WILL get a milky/cloudy effect. I'm not a big fan of the stuff.
