i run my tmod at .22 ohms all the time. i have to give mine a little cleaning every day. i just run the eraser on thee bat hole and clean the 510 threads. it only takes a couple seconds in the morning when i give her a new bat and juice it up for the day

wow man it looks like a ton of tedious work! but man the end result is awesome. :D
Lots of little details that are tedious and time consuming, little things that make the difference between a aluminum bar with holes drilled in it and the finished product, holes ate all perfectly finish and shaped, tops are perfectly mated with the bottoms etc. They ate going to come out awesome! They will take a little longer bc I have to yield to the sx mods, I work on the sx mods first and foremost so in can get them finished as soon add possible.

Someday I'll actually get to vape with a TMod. One is at Dready's, two are in the stack of aluminum, above, and the last is the SX350J. Prolly they'll all show up at once! Anticipation ... :)

Can't wait to see what kind of magic dready has done for you LB!

By far the best I've seen..... I love gold though.... I thought you used a gold that was darker before... Is that a new gold color? That looks like it should be stored @ fort Knox!

I DGOLDED all my contact points on my TMod. I love the throw. It's getting softer. My bottles have been leak free. Y'all are NUTZ.

I found if I over-tightened the bottles they would leak, ~1/8- 1/4 turn past snug and I'm good.

Then do what. Subtract the ohms from 4v?

Subtract Voltage measured across the positive & Negative posts of the atty (voltage with load) from the Voltage measured at the 510, no atty (voltage unloaded/ no device connected), this is your voltage drop under load.

I like the tiny amount of play in the battery compartment. It reminds me there is a 20Amp battery in there. It gives me a modicum of saftey that a tight to the contacts, frozen, immovable battery doesn't provide. Also, when I screw my TMOD back together, I make sure the top and the bottom are as perfectly aligned and plumb as possible. I see alot of janked up pics where they are not aligned. Over time it will make a difference. Those bolts and holes are so good, you can join them from a non plumb position. Over time, even those threads and bolts will wear improperly. Just an aside.

Yes, that step was omitted in the OP. Thanks!

Hi All, New TMOD Owner here ( I have received my 18650 sniper grey girl and have a nra blu lizard on top mini on order) I was using MNKE batteries at first and was having a lot of misfires but now i have new Sony VCT5s and its doing some better although the button is still very hard to push and i still get some misfires ( I will try the magnet thing to fix that) but I still have a few questions:

1. I noticed when I took my fire button out for cleaning - there was a lot of blackish "goop" on and around the button. Is that naolox or oxidation? I wiped it off , is it supposed to stay on there?
2. Im currently using an odin on my 18650 sniper grey girl tmod but Im interested in the stumpy and /or vector or any other atty yall think is the best. Which do you recommend between a stumpy and a vector and do you have any other atty recommendations for a rocking TMOD atty?
3. what atty do you recommend for the mini? anything different than for the 18650? ( I have been trying dual coils but struggling with them even after watching superx how to videos so I usually do only single coil with 28 g over 2.0mm coil master jig at .7ohms)
4. What is the consensus on the best way to clean the TMOD ( firing pin and general maintenance) and keep it hitting hard?
Thank You.
