This is pretty neat, the first patented Smokeless non-tobacco cigarette in 1965 by Herbert A. Gilbert looks pretty much like some of the ones out today
Patent US 3200819 A

But Joseph Robinson filed a patent for the first personal Electric vaporizer in 1927.
Patent US 1775947 A

Yep that's the very first, but he made it in 1963.

Wasn't until Hon Lik's Ruyan V8 that made "e-cigarette" a household term.

And...IMO...the whole 'cigarette' plan is the reason why Hon's invention just didn't catch on.

It was too expensive to manufacture because it was too small. ($299.99/set)

He created the first ever micro hand-held nebulizer.....also the very reason why the FDA wanted e-cigs classified as a medical device.

But it's truly my belief that vaping WILL go back to Hon's concept.

Everything that we're using now will be obsolete once an uber-powerful ultrasonic transducer is patented.

Whichever Chinese manufacturer is the first to create it (or get exclusive rights to it)....is gonna rule the vaping world.

They'll make Joyetech look like amateurs.

The wick and coil will vanish.

Instead, temperature control will be used for setting the temperature of your juice in the tank so that when you vape it, you'll be able to accurately set the temperature of your vapor.

And without the need for a wick or coil, ultrasonic waves won't burn your juice...ever. Nothing will touch it so you'll have the most flavorful vape that you've ever had.

Sounds good to me ... when do you start work on it? ;)

It's already on the table....in Germany.

And when it's perfected, the vaping world as we know it now is going bye-bye!

When it debuts, everything will change dramatically.

It could wipe China out of the market entirely....unless they get to work on it immediately?

Up to date, the only way to create "clouds of vapor" is by using a wick and coil.

The ultrasonic transducers that are commercially available right now are the weak ones that you commonly see in household nebulizers. Those wispy vapor machines used for aroma therapy.

But an ultra-powerful one will revolutionize vaping and will eliminate the need for a wick and coil. Effectively making everything that we use now ...obsolete.

This is the future but what company will figure it out. I know there has to be a more advanced way to vape.

This was a map tank

This is a photo from vapor-age. They sold the gummy tank
