Whoa! That is quite a list!
I just started to look around if I should do my own juices. Looks like I need to turn in a vacation request to my boss so I can spend time researching. LOL
I found a sale on 100 MG unflavored nicotine for mixing. That's probably something I should avoid in the beginning, right?
Also, if I buy massive quantities that might take ages to use, what's the best way to store it to keep it fresh?
Yes, don't go with 100mg nic right off the bat. Good call. What's your target level? I've been DIYing for years and still don't use 100mg... it's just not necessary for everyone.
I don't usually buy giant quantities of nic at once so not sure how people like to store big quantities of nicotine, VG, or PG, but I do buy lots of flavorings at one time. I recommend simply storing in a cool, dark, dry place and not buying anymore at one time than you might use up in about a year. I never refrigerate my flavorings. Some also last well over a year, but I usually don't even bother trying past the year-ish mark unless the smell seems really close to what it should be. Sometimes I'll put a drop or two in water and swish in my mouth to test.
+1 for BullCityVapor and Wizardlabs. I prefer getting nicotine from NudeNic though. The stuff from Wizardlabs is OK in a pinch, however, and it's nice that you can get absolutely everything you need there with free priority shipping over $65.

My target nicotine is 6MG.
My big concern and interest in DIY is I'm moving to Chicago (from Texas) soon and the information from friends is that they are very restrictive and tax happy, so the recent concerns about online shopping and such in other states has me very concerned. I feel am urge to doomsday stock pile. Although that's pretty ridiculous. But that's why I was concerned about storage.
I think somebody has waaaaaaaaaay too much time on their hands...

Having lived in both, I can tell you that the winters are just a "tad" cooler in Chicago.

Yeah...really not looking forward to the winters. Not originally from Texas but always from the warmer climates. I keep telling the man that the good thing about working from home is hiding from Winter. Lol!
I started with 500ml of 36mg. Got comfortable with that and quickly moved to 100mg.
The first time I transferred a liter of 100mg into smaller bottles I was dressed for hazmat. Disposable lab coat, nitrile gloves and splash type goggles with the outside door open and the ceiling fan on. I actually thought about using my full face respirator but figured the goggles and air movement was enough. The transfer was done in a large cake pan with a towel in the bottom (in case of spillage).
I now have over 4 liters in my freezer and have gotten quite comfortable handling it. However, with the exception of the lab coat (the shower is close), I still do all of the above when transferring into smaller bottles. When mixing I'm simply very careful, and right next to the kitchen sink.
Sounds like a very dangerous thing to handle. And you vape it without hesitation?
Yes, it can be dangerous if not handled properly, but then so can many common household items. Paint stripper is sold in every hardware store and yet if you get it on you it will burn you skin off.
And yes, I do vape it with hesitation. I pause slightly between puffs.

Lol, nobody is vaping it at that concentration! It's exactly the same as the nic in your juice once diluted properly. It's just a concentrate.
