Volt iClear 16 problem/question

I started using an iClear a few months ago and I'm stoked on it, but I'm having a problem. It started out perfectly centered, but the last time I changed the heating coil I noticed that it was so off-center the little silicone piece at the top of the coil is almost touching the side of the cartridge. Did I do something wrong? Are the threads messed up? I'm pretty careful with my vape, no dropping it or anything like that.

Also, can anyone at SI tell me if you're getting more of the iClears in stock soon? I still have extra coils so I don't want to switch to another type of clearo just yet.

It sounds like the replacement head may be cross threaded in the tank. We have submitted and order for iclear16s but we have not gotten any confirmation yet. I will keep you updated when we hear from the manufacturer.

Looking at it closer, it appears that the heating coil runs parallel with the battery, but the outer cartridge is askew from just above the threads. It looks like the clear chamber is slightly off-kilter from the metal band its attached to. Its not leaking or anything.

Thanks for the info, I'll just re-order coils for now.

HI. JibbaJabba! I have been using the iclears for almost a year now and every so often (or oftener) there will be a crooked head. It actually does not bother the vaping experience. There are a few other times that it is in fact the user who places it on crooked when in a hurry (yep I've done on more than one occasion ). I hope this helps you in at least a small way!

By crooked, do you mean the plastic chamber is askew from the metal band its attached to, because thats my problem. You're right though, doesn't seem to affect the vaping too bad.

yep... Don't know why they end up crooked, though. Oh well as long as its a good vape I don't care.

My replacements end up crooked most of the time. Kind of annoying.
