I enjoy all the animal pics/vids posted here, but about those bats...

I knew nothing about bats, except that they mostly get an (undeserved) bad rep, until my friend Amanda rescued an injured bat, which eventually led to her opening a Bat Sanctuary. She educated me, and I started promoting bat shelters to friends/family. It's good to have bats around, especially if you have a mosquito problem.

Here's a vid of a recent addition to Bat World Sanctuary - an abandoned baby fruit bat - he's so tiny!! They named him Lil Drac :
