Why does 0 nic liquid make me cough?

I ran out of liquid so I thought I'd fill my tank with some of my moms 0 nic liquid and vape on that until mine arrived. Why does 0 nic liquid make me cough? it's like I'm vaping for the first time every time I inhale lol.

Is the PG:VG ratio the Same for your Mom's 0mg as was yours?

Why jump to that (illogical) conclusion? (no offense).

does your mom's eliquid contain the EXACT same flavorings as what you are used to vaping? Same exact PG/VG ratio, and same nic base (i.e, same manufacturer for the nic PG and VG)?

These are all factors.

I'm gonna guess the flavorings her particular ejuice.

If you are both vaping the exact same thing, then I have no clue.

The flavor i put in my tank was fruit smoothie from ecblend. same pg/vg/ratio that i get. I tried another one of her flavors before and it made me cough also.
