Doesn't this kind of Trash deserve a Broken Link?
i don't make the rules but.i say leave it as it is.
i took the opportunity to leave a comment.
its awaiting moderation.

"My main concern is why is nicotine in and of itself such a bad thing? If every smoker today quit and started taking a nicotine pill and,new users did the same virtually wiping out tobacco use, what is so terribly wrong about that? Is nicotine that heinous and debilitating? Has anyone bothered to read the 1964 Surgeon Generals Report on Smoking? Does it not state that nicotine in the amounts found in cigarettes is of little or no concern?"

Hmmm...now that's interesting. I haven't read it, but I'm deciding to take your word for it.

Exact quote is,
“The chronic toxicity of nicotine in quantities absorbed
from smoking and other methods of tobacco use is very
low and probably does not represent a significant health
problem.”

Chapter 4 page 32 of the original 1964 report and page 41 of the pdf here,

Thanks, OldBatty and Mike. I think you two were posting about this recently, but it somehow failed to sink in for me.

But they've had "50 Years of Progress" [meaning lies] since then. See how they're trying to blame nicotine for heart disease.
