when we see single 18650 DNA200 mod's and, we will ;) I wonder how many watts they'll be.... a single 18650 should do 75 watts i'm hoping :) I don't drip anymore so I only need that much. well, not even. 60-65 is fine considering I rarely go over 45 these days :)

I don't think that's possible. The board cannot support voltage that low.

oh I didn't realize that, that's no Bueno. so much for a stealthy little DNA200 mod :(

With the way Evolv "rolled over" on dual 18650 mode for the DNA200 after seeing at least one former Evolv "flagship" device jump ship to Yihi, I wouldn't be surprised if they roll out a new lower voltage eScribe-capable board in the not too distant future. They really need to be able to compete in the popular "Mini" segment, even if they don't decide to make something that will be able to retrofit in DNA40 enclosures.

They're giving up sales to P4U, Sigelei, Koopor, eLeaf, Joyetech, etc, that they might have been able to capture. I bought an IPV D2 not because I was being cheap, but because I wanted a small and powerful TC mod with a "brand name" board and native titanium support. I would have paid 2x or more for a DNA200 or SX350J in the same form factor.

IPV D2
Dimensions: 3.73″ x 1.89″ x 1.06″ inches

BOXER DNA200 133W
Dimensions: 3-1/3″ x 2″ x 1-1/2″ inches

Hmm..

hmm is right, your ipv d2 dimensions seem off. this is what i see as ipv d2 dimensions:

  • Dimensions: 3"L x 1-1/2"W x 7/8"D
so, the boxer is quite a bit bigger than a mini mod as the persons you quoted mentions.

hmm..
