popping can also mean there's too much cotton lol got to really fine tune that amount of cotton.
Also please clean titanium wires before using with IPA or something.

Also I believe sx mini has TI support, up the temp to 180-200 Celsius instead if theres no TI support or its only nickel just use 130 Celsius offset 1/3 due to their TCR being 0.004 and 0.006 respectively

found out the problem. LOL. we forget to calibrate the resistor.

please lock the resistance when the coil is cold not after firing. Keep locking it until it stabilise at one before firing.

we are still facing poping issue. my brother is going to recoil again. any one got any idea how many "rounds" should we turn ?
you can use the steam engine to agar agar require wraps for the target resistance

also popping initially is still ok, just pop the initial and the subsequent fire should have no popping or lesser popping

we have given up. my brother will bring it to let his friend have a look. we are facing popping issue and also lesser than usual clouds.

Popping issue = too many parts of exposed wires/wick is too thin. Wick around the juice channels are also too little. Wick become too saturated, causing flooding, excessive of juice in there, exposed wires burning the juice that creates popping. Excessive juice floods wick, hence causing the coils to be weak in firing, which results in lesser vapor.

You inserted a wick that is too thin because you read that wicks that are too thick makes it hard to wick well and causes dry hits. But you did not see the consequence of having a wick that is too thin. So, trim a wick that threads snugly but doesn't shred the frills when you slide to and fro in your coils. Make sure your ends of wick just covers the juice channels but do not protrude out of the channels. It isn't easy to do a good wick, IMO it is more troublesome than getting a good coil done.

You guys still don't get the trick? 2mm diameter coil, wick = approximately 2x2 = 4mm.

Just cut the width of your wick around 2 times the inner diameter of your coil. Then you roll up that wick till its about 1mm thicker than the coil diameter, pinch the threading end and thread thru.

thanks for your help ! will definitely keep this formula in mind.

Your main aim is to get the wick just that little bit thicker than the coil so it rests firmly against your coils, but they do not shift around too much or suffocate the coil. Once you get it right the first few times, you wanna have a dry hit or popping effect also difficult.
noted. will highlight to my brother so he can try it on his tank
