Need help smok 160 Tc and rdas

So I just got my smok the other day but. I can't hold fire on past three secs on any build or else my cotton burns any suggestion or tips

I had a buddy who got his first mod, stuck a tank on it and burned up 2 coils before he called me. He had the power at full max. If it's anything else it's probably something I don't know. Hang in there.

I made sure it not on max I even tried it 30 watts on soft

I haven't a clue. Hopefully someone with more experience in this mod will come along but the only other thing I can think of is to call/email/visit where you bought it.

I've thrown most of mine away sept a few stranded coils and a Clapton all reading .3 I just got a thicker gage wire hoping it might slow down the. Heating and let the juice soak for a min

Softer. Than 30 watts on soft which is 20 percent less than 30 watts. Then I won't vape nothing but hot air

If I was at max power I wouldn't be able to tank my arctic all day with out change its coils. I've check it's coil and it still has plenty of life on it

If I hold it past three secs from a fludded freak show mini it is bone dry and starting to turn in color

I've got one of these mods in the mail on the way to me. If you can wait a couple weeks for me to get some experience on mine I might be able to answer your question. From what I understand TC doesn't work on Kanthal so I would just suggest double checking the settings. Good luck. (and my suggestion to wait two weeks was a joke).

Well, in this case the OP is talking about the SMOK XCube II. Haven't yet purchased a temp control mod. Maybe I will if there are some stellar sales this weekend.

Well I mean there. Is three. Modes on it stock
Memory(which is preset wattages you can choose to set or if you leave it alone with out setting it goes up by tens; then wattage mode which you use to tranverse the range of 6 to 160
Then temp mode which stock only thing you can use is nickle until you update then stainless steel and titanium
