Wow, front page. They didn't give that much attention to the UK study. Then again, good news just isn't news.
Even when they did report it, they attempted to scare people away from vaping:

http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/20/health/e-cigarettes-help-smokers-quit/

It looks as though any positive stories about vaping are put through test marketing, probably rejected for publishing if they get trace levels of no votes. I don't think this one survived:

Want to Quit Smoking? Studies Suggest Vaping Daily Is Best Way to Kick the Habit for Good - CNN iReport

Huge Rolly Eyes.
People are gonna use things for what ever they have a mind to.
It's not always tobacco in cigarette rolling papers either...

AND !!! If kids aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing in class - teachers and parents need to address THAT issue.

Government may well use this type of tactic to strip this away from us. They will still know full well it is to protect their bottom line and they know full well the Abusers will simply move on the the next easy resource.

Didn't Germany suffer totalitarian control some decades back?

How the hell is vaping "drugs"? Wow that is some major league government propaganda bull.... right there. Typical scare tactics to get the ignorant dumb middle american health nuts whipped up. Anyone see the movie, "They Live"? The scene where Roddy Piper's character puts the sunglasses on that let him see as things really are, all the propaganda hidden in plain sight.

Where are the articles demonizing McDonalds and all the sugar in foods for making everyone so damn fat?

I have no sympathy for some one stupid enough to do (OTHER STUFF), but to equate that with vape pens that are harmless with PG & VG liquid? Total crap. Make no mistake, big tobacco supports these articles because they want vaping to be so restricted that people just say to hell with it and just all go back to smoking cigarettes again. That's very possible if these kinds of scaremongering articles continue.

It's a typical scare piece. I can't even see a comments section option, so there is no chance to even criticize the articles anymore.
The gov told CNN to shut that down ages ago, along with all the other major news outlets. Now you can only comment on a limited selection of news reports.

Where are all the reports in the media about the tons and tons of people who have quit smoking regular cigarettes because of vaping alone? And these people who always claim to be so obsessively worried about kids, what about the fact that youth smoking has declined immensely in recent years in tandem with vaping increasing? Where are those articles?

Sorry, but that is considered good news, therefore, it won't sell, so it doesn't count as news. They need controversy, fear and danger. Danger to America's middle class children is the best kind of danger. That stuff sells like crazy.

Quote from article:
"E-cigarettes, or vape pens, have been around for more than a decade but have boomed in popularity recently because of marketing to nicotine users looking for a safer alternative to smoking cigarettes."

So who the hell does CNN think they were marketed to before the recent grab by nicotine users?

Yea god forbid some middle class child would get a whiff of cinnamon vapor. That would just be so dangerous. Omg, what if he gets a paper cut too! We need to ban paper to protect kids. Haha. Seriously these people need to get a life. Over it.
