You can use most liquids at a year old. Now and again, one might go off for flavour or become just too steeped, but it's not common.
I'd vape 2 year old basic liquids but would test something more complex. If it's dark (black) like Custards go, they've probably had it.

E-liquid is generally rated at 1.5 to 2 years shelf life depending on the quality of the ingredients sourced. That is 1.5 to 2 years from the production of the e-liquid and not the time you bought it. If your liquids don't have a use by date on the bottle, I would go the safe route and straight bin them. If it's a lot of liquid I can see how you can not want to do that, but considering you are talking for an year back I would go on a limb here and guess they are 11mg's+? That suited the tanks back then, but with the new tanks in the market now producing much more vapour users drop to 6mg and below.
If you're going from an early e-cig to a new high power one, then yes, 18mg is probably too much.
If the OP uses the 18mg through a quality vaporfi mod then it will not be too much.

Well I was using an iTaste SVD with Kanger ProTank and will be going to either a Kanger SuBox Kit or an MVP Pro 3 with some kind of sub tank. More than likely the sub tank as its a lot cheaper to use your own coils and also can experiment and see what suits me best.
well just ask @djsvapour about how good their products are. They make some of the best pens in the marketplace.
