So the Quebec Gov.. passed Bill 44.. the act to bolster tobacco control.
I am a bit confused as to when the e-cigarette definition in the bill comes into force.

We will continue for now.. but it looks like our time is up..

Here is a link to the all of the preceding information to the bill's final vote yesterday Nov. 26th
Bill n°44 : An Act to bolster tobacco control - National Assembly of Québec

Dose anyone have further insight or information?

I'd say we still have a few years. The act doesn't do much for ecigs except you can't vape with someone under 16 in a car or vaping in public places even on an outside patios. Gotta be at least 9 meters away from public buildings too. They've ban menthol cigarettes and every smoke flavors but haven't banned anything flavor related to ecigs. They could if they want to though, it's in the bill!

I guess that's the end of trying flavors in vape shop since you won't be able to vape in the shop, that is really really bad.

I'm not happy about this new law but if it stays just like that, I could live with it. Problem is that I doubt they will leave it like that. Next bill might be just simply banning flavored ecigs, having government certifications for selling anything ecig related which will cost a lot and most vendors will have to close, banning all imports at customs for ecigs & flavors or even worse, put up a nicotine tax where a 30ml bottle will cost a lot :(
