Istick getting hot

I have a 30w eleaf istick with a arctic tank . When my mod is just sitting there not being used it heats up and I can't figure out why? It doesn't heat up hot enough to vape but it does seem to make the battery drain fast and seems like one of them may be defective . Any help with this would be appreciated . And has anyone else had this issue?

Hmm, I don't know the cause but back when I first got the 20w, mine got warm (not hot tho) when not in use and just sitting there so I replaced it. Wish I could offer more help as to why, but it made me a little nervous.
Is there heat transfer from the tank that remains for a time, or is the heat coming from the mod?

Defective. There should be NO current flow unless you're pressing the fire button, so no heat generation.

The istick 50W had a 'self-firing' problem. Hadn't heard it for the 30W though. If you're still within warranty, I'd return it. If not, I'd still return it and tell them to send it back to the manufacturer with a note about it.
