You can use V2+ housing in Tilémahos V1 & V2, so i think yes you can use V2+ with hybrid base. I also use it on V1 & V2....

Holo you are absolutely right. Esg has to put it in proper plastic tubes. I am sure he has already ordered them and he is waiting for them to arrive.

If this is an issue for you, you can buy from Italian or Spain GG store
