Geez...I want to get one just to have one! Great price...Is a dual 18650 option (133w step down) going to be available?

Aloha sig-cmt! Thanks for contacting us and glad you are considering our LAVABOX. At the moment our device is only built to have a LiPo battery pack, but we also will have replacement packs for folks who need to swap batteries out. Although with the fast charge feature we have in our device, using our included 2A charger the device can charge from 0-100% in 90 minutes. Are you concerned about battery life and feel the 18650s are easier to swap out during the day?

Aren't most vapers who are looking at DNA 200 devices concerned with this :) ? With the Evolv firmware update allowing the use of dual 18650s with a corresponding max output step down to 133W, the convenience and overall improvement in watt-hours from LIBs certainly appeals to me. A 900 mAh LiPo will no doubt be a wall wart (even the upcoming Cloudmaker Whiteout DNA will come with a 1100mAh 3S LiPo) :( . So it is the middle of the October 5th week...When can we get our hands on one ;) ?

Haha true you got us there. :) In terms of the battery that we chose, we were trying to keep the size of the device on the smaller side for a more ergonomic and comfortable vaping experience. Also we found that dual 18650s as you mentioned only really hit 133W and we really wanted our device to be able to get up to 200W. Having 3 18650 cells to hit the 200W mark we felt was going to be way too cumbersome in a mod, so the LiPo was the way to go for us. Our device is pass-through capable though, maybe that will help a bit? *shrugs* :D We are posting an update shortly regarding our launch, thanks so much for your patience!
