Guys, I have a subox mod and an atlantis V2, and when I put these 2 together, I'm getting 9.9 ohms.. on a coil that's supposed to be 0.5 ohms..

Is my mod wrong or I have to rebuild the coil? I'm using the stock coil now.

And side track a bit, for rba, does more wraps equates to lower ohms?

Thanks in advance?

9.9 ohms on your regulated mod? How about on your dedicated ohm meter?

If it reads .5 on your ohm reader, it usually means your atty positive pin is not contacting your regulated mod pin. You may need to adjust either side.

I don't have a dedicated ohm reader..
Ic.. so I have to push the pin from my atty?

Thanks javafreak

Ok just to help you sum up everyone's suggestions.

Step 1 - Make sure the leads are screwed in tight
Check to see if any change
Step 2 - Take out battery, use a small flat screwdriver to lift the subox pin out a little
Check to see if any change
Step 3 - Change the coil
check to see if any change

If all of this fail, try the mod with a different atty and try the atty with a different mod. If you get success, this atty just don't like that mod. Don't use them together anymore.
