Holy Cow, Sally lays it all out doesn't she? I think it's great that she's saying that what we all know, and could do, would work.

I'm a little disappointed she didn't mention that a prerequisite for any of this to work is to [HASHTAG]#AbolishTC[/HASHTAG]

She's spot on. vaping is a consumer led revolution. Until 2012, before heavy advertising, vaping spread from one person to another. Multiple polls confirm that about 70% of vapers have converted at least one smoker.

That's the way to go. All we need are proper tools to get it done.

What are your thoughts? Have you ever helped a smoking friend switch to vaping?

I've helped two (that I know of, for sure) switch -- they've stayed "switched" for over a year now.

Have answered questions about vaping from many other smokers who saw me vaping. "Is that one of those electronic things?" "Where'd you get it?" "Does it really work?" "How much does it cost?"

Quite a few sounded like they were really going to try it. Don't know how many of them actually did, or how many switched completely. I expect some made the switch.

I've helped 3 people get started with vaping, but I have no idea how many others those 3 have since helped.
One begets two, begets four, begets eight...

Or, at the very least, establish a disconnect between vaping and the 'tobacco product' label.
Take that label away and TC authority over vaping reverts to opinion, rather than accepted fact.
