Well puf...I agree with your approach...and...I disagree with it.
I have 7-10 (who's counting?) mods/toppers scattered around my 6 room apartment.
Agree with "full tilt". When I bought my first VV V3 and first 30W-istick I was so impressed with both of them that I gradually ended up adding all of the colors of each to my "rotation".
Disagree with NO "vaping museum". As I keep running across posts about "The gubmint may limit our access to Mods but they'll never be able to control our access to 18650's"...I've decided to try a few inexpensive replaceable 18650 Mods.
As its just slightly larger than my 30W-iSticks...I just recently scored an eVic VTC Mini.
I LOVE it...but...rather than getting a 2nd one I'm planning on (once they're a little more available)...getting a slightly smaller Cloupor Mini Plus.
Of course...that's just my thoughts...

that is funny you said that
because I am of the same mind-set

I don’t do removable batteries
but as of late, thinking as you say
might be a good thing to have as a back up...

so as I research, the VTC looks to be on top of my list
(I have the evicvt) also in a close second is the TC60W
I like it because of the centered 510/lanyard hole/dual doors
prices are similar

will have to fetch ‘charger + batteries’ now…
I hear that ‘tootsie roll’ battery is pretty good

:)

Not sure what a ‘tootsie roll’ battery is...but most seem to recommend a 20A (continuous) battery for 40W-75W Mods.

And the highest capacity (3000 mAh) 20A battery is the LG HG 2.

Well...for me...since I LOVE the size of my 30W-iStick...I tend to compare other Mod's sizes to it...

Ranked by volume (mm³)...(with Depth x Width x Height in mm)...

iStick-30W 21 x 32.5 x 77... 52,553
iStick-TC40W 22.3 x 36.2 x 77.3... 62,401
Cloupor Mini Plus 22 x 37 x 78.5...63,899
KBOX Nano 22 x 38 x 82...68,552
eVic VTC Mini 22.2 x 38.2 x 82...69,539
Wismec Presa TC40W 24.4 x 34.9 x 81.9... 69,743
KBOX Mini 22 x 39 x 82... 70,356
iPV D2 23 x 40 x 78... 71,760
HV Defender-50W 23 x 38 x 85... 74,290
HV Defender-36W 25 x 35 x 85... 74,375
Kamry 30W V2 21 x 44 x 81...74,844

I really like the size, feel, options, & price of the TC40W
seems the TC60W is very friendly also (but removable)
(and like the VTC, you can adj watts while in TC mode)

Well puf...I, currently, have NO interest in TC...

But I figured...how could I not purchase a (totally unique color) Cyan small, 60W, VW, big/bright screen, spring-loaded 510 VTC with step-down and upgradable firmware...for $28.89!

efun.top's tracking notice is close to worthless...but I received it 10 days after ordering.

(The Cyan/Black/White colors seem to be In Stock/OOS every couple days.)

yepper, well that was where I was

needed to replace my failing 2 yr old MVP

hello 5000mah
60w (way beyond my use/needs)
display/USB/brand name/spring-SS 510 threads
full kit: USB Cable /Wall Adapter (1A)/silicone skin/2 coils/4ml tank
Bonus: includes TC mode function...
$55
seemed a no brainer

now thinking I need to do the same, but with a replaceable battery...

:)

agree
but the 2000mah, $$ and no TC function
is what's holding me back

(but it sure seems a groovy device)

:|

A 2000mAh LiPo lasts a LOT longer than a 2000mAh IMR... easily twice as long, if not more.

I know it lasts longer than a 2600mah VTC5 at the same wattage, not twice as long but definitely longer.

With my IMRs, which are 2000mAh and 2250mAh, I generally got about 6-ish hrs, before it would get down to about 3.5v; with my CF4s, I can vape the entire day, 14-16 hrs, and it only goes down to about 3.7v. The wattage I use is similar to what I used with the IMRs, maybe a trifle lower since I have the Achilles now, but I'm talking about the diff between 10w and 9w -- probably too small a difference to be really significant on battery life. The coils are I use are about the same, somewhere between 1.5 and 2 ohms.

Any comments on the new Provari Radius? When I first saw it Innokin jumped to mind. 40 watts, check, small box, check, no temp control, check. Cool Fire 4? Disruptor? The $199 price tag sure makes the Innokin offerings real attractive!
