Hey guys,
I have had the joyetech for several weeks now, and although not amazing, it was definitely doing the job. I often charged the device using my USB port on my computer. Some of my friends do the same thing with their devices with no problems. But yesterday after plugging in to my computer, the device started making a sizzling sound (without the atomizer/tank attached) and now does not work.
So, I suppose this is a warning [Edit - a warning to other noobs like me]. Use the prescribed power or you could potentially end up with a dead unit like ME!
Silver lining - great excuse to upgrade
