Yeah, I can't switch because of how I hook my laptop up to my phone... I can't rock the boat and switch things around unless I'm POSITIVE it'll work, cuz if it doesn't, I'm screwed.

I'm mulling the same thing. No cable service here, so I have Verizon home fusion. 20GB/month costs me $100. If I go over, it is another $10/GB, and it's easy to do. For backup, I still have an old sprint phonecard modem. It's not very fast, but I'm pushing 50gb/month through it for $60. If I could find a way to tether our phones or use them as hotspots without TMobile knowing, I could just add 10GB increments to my phone for $10/month and get rid of the phone card AND the home fusion.

Check out these websites (I have learned and used information from them for years), there is a lot of very useful information about workarounds - especially how to tether almost any phone (and even other Electronic equipment like tablets & computers too) to gain access to the Internet without being detected . . . Just Sayin' . . .
