Nothing so far since the Stress Echo test
Did you get over enthusiastic after the operation and overdo it?

My surgery went well. Had to remove twice as a much bone as usual. Apparently the mri did not indicate the full depth of the issue And I wasn't ready for he skull clamp which looks a lot worse than it is. That's a creepy device. Especially when you know it's going through to the bone.

I'm sorry you're not back to 100%. I'm totally laid out right now aside from having to do the post op walking. When will you have more answers?

Not me, I never overdo anything, although they managed to open up the RCA, I was still getting some slight problems, not as bad as before, but it was there, even before the op, all my ECGs, BP & pulse were normal, that's why they gave me the Stress Echo test, it showed that the blood to the left side was bad enough to show that the left side muscle wasn't working properly, they had noted that both the LCx & LAD were partially blocked, but had hoped that opening the RCA would cure the problem, the LAD had a stent in it 12 years ago.

Rehab therapy is going well, with about 90 minutes of excercise including the warm up etc per week.

Glad to hear yours went well too - looking a bit like C3PO then , how long does that have to stay on?

Hah. No the clamp
Was just for surgery. It has to be screwed into the skull as he was working 1-2 mm from my spinal cord.

I'm ok. This want that bad. The medication I take makes the pain manageable. At 6'5+ and 230 I can't imagine the tiny doses they typically give would have worked. Fortunately I see a pain specialist who coordinated.

Right now I can't lift more than 4 lbs be in a car. Or sitting or standing for more than 15 minutes. Prone for most of the day.

Weird thing about the spine is you never really realize how much it is included in every single motion until something goes wrong.

My brain surgery is holding for now. They want to see the results of the two spinal operations so far. We did the lesser of the two operations first by it wound up being more severe. That actually makes me happy because I thought I was going crazy when everyone was saying - you know it doesn't look that bad.

My neurosurgeon apologized to me about he fact he made me wait so long to get the operations. He aid if he mri reflected the third dimension he would have put me in surgery right away. So at least I feel a little vindicated and less Likeni was whinig about nothing :)

Upside is that going in for the other side I won't be as nervous. That happens two days before new year.

My father had a lot of what you've explained done. He had a very good quality of life despite congestive heart failure. And beat the English average age by over a decade. He was just about 90 when he died.

The rate at which heart operations and retooling has improved is amazing compared to when I was a child and he had his first heart attack. So I'm sure whatever is going on with you they will find a way to manage it. As always you have my highest hopes and best wishes on your recovery.

My actual surgery was nothing compared to what you've been through - the nervy part is just knowing what happens if nerves et severed and such. The operation was not bad at all. I was only being worked on for about an hour.

Dunno, that sounds a lot worse than what I went through even though I was on the table longer, but glad you are coping with it all.

Trying to remember if I had the same problem, I know I have re-wicked it, and it's waiting to go into a Crown when the next coil becomes useless, I have it made up the same way as the Kanger horizontal coils are normally made, with the cotton straight across and covering the whole of the inside of the juice holes.

Yeah, thats how i have done it Bob ! It could be leaking because of the new build, and i`m hoping it`s just breaking in :)

I obviously took it out for a reason, either leaking or dry hitting but can't remember which, think I was in a hurry so just replaced it with a stock pre-made coil, then got round to re-wicking the RBA later.

I do remember you posting about it Bob, but like you, i can`t remember what probs you were having. I know when i primed it i may have put a bit too much on, but that is just a guess. Suppose i`ll just have to wait till the next fill and see if it still leaks.

I just had a quick look on UKV RE: the Crown leaking. It seems the best way to wick these is the S shaped wick, like we used to do with the V1 kayfuns. Apparently, this RBA likes to be stuffed with cotton, so if i get chance tomorrow i will try it and report back. :)

EDIT: Will try this way Tomorrow...

BLACKFRIDAYMLD 25% off
Wish they had more than one of the VG ones available - there's more coming, but I don't know when.

This is a good bargain 50% off Perino London - Handcrafted e-liquid. Made in the UK enter the code CYBER
Have you tried anything other than the Perino Gold? A couple of them look interesting.

Nothing so far since the Stress Echo test
Hope they get back to you soon, and that you don't find it troublesome in the meanwhile!

Not so bad then - thought you were still wearing your new 'milinery'

I think that's what frustrates people so much when they have any sort of back pain ..very debilitating.
I found similar with abdominal muscles - still got one painful area if I try to sit up to get out of bed without help.

Upside is that going in for the other side I won't be as nervous. That happens two days before new year.
So good to have had such a positive experience that you feel less apprehensive about the next one.

The operation was not bad at all. I was only being worked on for about an hour.
Was that with sedation and localised anaesthesia, or di you have a GA?

I had sedation at the dentist twice, both for an hour at a time, and thought I'd only been there 10 minutes! If I thought I'd get the same stuff for an 'oscopy' should I need one, I may not be so worried.

Just looking at coils for the Silo - the ones that came with it work well and are this type: Replacement E Cig Coils : Aspire Nautilus BVC Coils x 5
I do have a couple of packs of this type with the small holes (not from the above supplier)
BVC%20coil-500x500.png

I also have some packs of these from a few suppliers with the larger holes:

I also have the standard Aspire BVC ones but haven't tried them in the Silo.

So, would those with larger holes not work as well as the ones with small holes?
