Plastic taste on my new EVOD

Hi my new EVOD tastes of plastic when I use it how do I get rid of the taste please as I'm new and need help thanks.

Some juices taste like plastic if exposed to too much heat. Could clean tank with vodka or pure grain alcohol.
Could try your tank (take gear to a local vape shop and ask them) on a VV/VW box mod and try diff. temperatures.

How long have you been using the coil?

How long have you had it? What kind of eliquid flavors are you using? Some eliquid flavors such as citrus, cinnamon, etc. are known as "tank crackers" because they are known to damage plastic tanks such as the Evod. There is a list of such flavors here on ECF, and some eliquid vendors indicate on their sites which of their flavors can potentially damage plastic tanks. Glass tanks are recommended for use with these types of flavors.

My daughter and I use Evods and really enjoy them. I hope you solve your problem to your satisfaction soon.

Have you melted an insulator? That might be giving you a bad taste.

some flavors are known to react with plastic; cinnamon, citrus, some menthols ( I think).

also, once you stop smoking and start vaping instead, your tastebuds improve; so sometimes when you taste the plastic, it's just that your tastebuds have improved.
