Currently trying dual coil SS304 with 10 wraps (0.33Ω) @ 47W.The wires is quite springy, makes a bit harder to coil. Initial vape impression... I like :).

Hoping it will last longer against gunk compared to the kanthal. Will update again!

Gunk still wins. Either I have to change juice or accept a cooler vape (lower wattage setting) to overcome this gunk issue.

Guess will stick to kanthal for the time being since it is easier to handle and I dont use TC.

Itchy backside - TFV4 specific: Dual Vertical build on the TF-R2

Kanthal 28G 10 wraps.

PITA build.
Initial impression too airy/cold for me. My method doesnt seem to wick well, if I bump up the wattage to get a warmer vape, I will get dry hits.

Will I do this again.... nah....

For reference.

Kanthal 24G 10 wraps (0.4Ω) @ 55W (152 mW/mm²)

Tried this for two days. Did not find very much different from 28G 10 wraps except that it draws a lot more power 55w to get the same amount of heat and the tank get much hotter. For me, I rather stick to the 28G.

Bro. How do u bend the legs of your coil so neat and nice when put into the post?

mine always bend jialat jialat then my last wrap of coil is not nice.

Long nose pliers and videos on coiling on You-Tube :)

Basically, with the coil on your wrapping tool (Screw driver, coiling tool, etc) and bend the legs as you wish.
